Teaching Personnel are working to support an Ofsted 'Good' school in the Bedford area to recruit an Music Teacher from the Summer Term. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Music Specialist Teacher to embark on a new challenge on a temp to perm contract, with a permanent offer made to the right candidate.  

The school seek an Music specialist who can specialise in teaching to KS4 but KS5 would be desirable.

The school are looking for teachers with:

  • Evidence of initiating progress in Music
  • Experience delivering and understanding examination criteria to GCSE Level
  • An excellent attitude to inspire the 970 pupils currently on roll across Year 7 to Year 11
  • High expectations of students’ attainment and behaviour 
  • Good organisation and communication skills 
  • A PGCE and QTS specialising in Music

The pay for this role will be dependent on experience and you would be paid to scale (proof required).

Teaching Personnel have a fantastic rapport with both teachers and schools across the local area meaning you will be looked after throughout the process.

Candidates will be required to attend an online interview to register. We will need to gain two references (academic/professional) and hold an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service certificate (or be prepared to allow us to process one for you).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
