Teaching Personnel is currently seeking a Teacher of Humanities to work in a welcoming and well-established mainstream secondary school in Cardiff. The school is looking for a motivated and knowledgeable teacher who can deliver engaging Humanities lessons, with Religious Education (RE) experience desirable.

This role is available to start as soon as possible, with a latest start date of 13 April, and will run for the remainder of the academic year, with the potential for the role to continue into the 2026/27 academic year for the right candidate.

The Role

• Deliver high-quality Humanities lessons at KS3 and KS4
• Teach Religious Education where possible within the timetable
• Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with the curriculum
• Support students of varying abilities to achieve their full potential
• Contribute positively to the school’s learning environment and ethos

The Ideal Candidate

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
• Has experience teaching Humanities subjects at secondary level
• Experience teaching Religious Education is desirable but not essential
• Demonstrates strong classroom management and communication skills
• Is enthusiastic, adaptable, and committed to student progress
