Teacher of Humanities – September 2026 Start
Pontypridd Area | Initial 6-Month Maternity Contract
Teaching Personnel are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Humanities to join a welcoming secondary school in the Pontypridd area from September 2026. This is a full-time position covering a maternity leave contract initially for six months, with the potential for extension.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging Humanities lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, inspiring students to develop their understanding of subjects such as History, Geography, and Religious Education. The school is looking for a passionate educator who can create a positive learning environment and maintain high expectations for student achievement and behaviour.

The Ideal Candidate Will:
• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Have experience teaching Humanities within a secondary school setting
• Be confident planning and delivering engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Demonstrate strong classroom management skills
• Be committed to supporting the progress and wellbeing of all learners

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
