Teaching Personnel are working with a well-regarded secondary school in Andover seeking a dedicated Geography specialist to join their Humanities department for a full-time maternity cover position lasting until the end of the academic year.

This is an exciting chance for either experienced teachers or confident subject specialists looking to step into the classroom. If you have strong curriculum knowledge, a commitment to high-quality teaching, and the ability to engage learners across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, we would love to hear from you.

The Role:

• Deliver engaging and inclusive Geography lessons across KS3–KS4
• Plan, prepare, and assess in line with curriculum expectations
• Support students of varying abilities to make strong progress
• Contribute to a positive and collaborative Humanities department
• Uphold high standards of behaviour, safeguarding, and classroom practice

What We’re Looking For:

• A qualified Teacher of Geography or experienced subject specialist
• Strong knowledge of the Geography curriculum at secondary level
• Confident classroom presence and the ability to build rapport with learners
• Reliable, flexible, and committed to supporting student outcomes
• Fully enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply for one)
