Are you a qualified English Teacher looking for a new teaching role?
Teaching personnel are currently recruiting an English Teacher for our client school located in Warrington. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a high achieving secondary school where you will be given full support from the senior leadership team and the English department.
Key details:
- Full-time position, set to start in September 2026.
- Pay In line with the Teacher Pay Scale (M1-UPS3)
- Teaching English curriculum across KS3 and KS4.
- Long-term requirement with the possibility of a permanent contract for the right candidate.
Requirements:
- Must hold Qualified Teacher Status in the UK.
- Experience teaching the English curriculum across KS3 and KS4.
- Proven track record of excellent classroom practice.
- ECT’s encouraged to apply.
The successful English teacher will teach the English curriculum across KS3/KS4 year groups and be able to adapt lessons to cater for ranging pupil abilities. This school are looking for an experienced teacher who is competent in planning and delivering enriching lessons and can boost pupil progress and attainment. You will assess students against set marking criteria and set new motivating targets to encourage learning.
Located in the central warrington, this school is easily accessible from surrounding areas such as South Manchester, Salford and Ashton in Makerfield. This school also has a large onsite car park for staff members.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
