English Teacher – Aldershot

Start Date: September 2026 (or sooner if available)
Contract: Full-Time / Permanent
Salary: MPR / UPR
Suitable for: ECTs and experienced teachers

Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with an ambitious and inclusive secondary school in Aldershot, Hampshire, to recruit a passionate and motivated English Teacher. The Role

As an English Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging and challenging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Create a calm, inclusive and purposeful classroom environment
  • Support students of all abilities, including those with SEND
  • Assess progress and provide effective feedback to drive attainment
  • Encourage a love of reading, writing and communication
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and pastoral teams to support student wellbeing

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Has experience teaching English at secondary level
  • Can engage and motivate learners across KS3 and KS4
  • Maintains high expectations for behaviour and achievement
  • Demonstrates excellent classroom management and communication skills
  • Is passionate about supporting young people to succeed
