The Role

As a Supply Design & Technology Teacher, you will deliver engaging and creative lessons across KS3 and KS4, maintaining positive classroom environments and supporting students in reaching their potential.

Subjects may include:

• Resistant Materials
• Product Design
• Food Technology
• Engineering
• Graphics
• General DT

Assignments can range from:

• Day-to-day cover
• Short-term placements
• Long-term opportunities
• Potential permanent positions

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality Design & Technology lessons
• Follow school lesson plans and curriculum
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively
• Inspire and motivate students
• Adapt teaching methods to suit different learning needs
• Ensure student safety within practical classroom environments
• Mark work where required and provide feedback

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Specialism or experience teaching Design & Technology
• Strong classroom management skills
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
• Passion for education and student development
• Ability to travel to local schools

Driving Requirement

A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is preferred, due to travel between schools and varying locations.
