Newly Qualified Teacher (ECT)

Contract Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
Pay: £172.98 per day

Teaching Personnel are seeking Newly Qualified Teachers (ECTs) to work in primary schools across the Newport area.
This is an excellent opportunity for teachers at the start of their career who are looking to gain valuable classroom experience, develop their teaching style and build confidence across different school environments.
We work with a number of supportive schools across Newport who are keen to welcome enthusiastic and motivated ECTs into their classrooms.
About the Role
-
Deliver engaging lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
-
Support pupils with a range of learning needs, including ALN/SEN
-
Create positive, inclusive learning environments
-
Work collaboratively with experienced teachers and support staff
-
Adapt teaching strategies to meet different learning styles
The Ideal Candidate
-
Recently completed a PGCE or teaching qualification
-
Registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) or willing to register
-
Passionate about supporting children’s learning and development
-
Strong classroom presence and good behaviour management
-
Flexible and willing to gain experience across different schools

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
