Year 4 Class Teacher

Location: Blackpool (FY4), Lancashire
Start Date: January 2027
Contract: Full-Time Fixed Term (Until July 2027)
Salary: MPS/UPS (Dependent on Experience)

Year 4 Teacher Required

Teaching Personnel are currently working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive primary school seeking an enthusiastic and committed Year 4 Class Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis from January 2027 until July 2027.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher to take responsibility for a well-behaved Year 4 class, delivering engaging lessons that inspire pupils and support their academic and personal development. The school is looking for an individual who can make a positive contribution to their dedicated teaching team and uphold high standards of teaching and learning.

The Role:

  • Full responsibility for planning, preparing and delivering engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
  • Assessing, monitoring and reporting on pupil progress.
  • Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues, support staff and parents.
  • Maintaining high expectations of behaviour and achievement.
  • Supporting pupils to achieve their full potential both academically and socially.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience teaching within Key Stage 2, ideally Lower KS2.
  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum.
  • Excellent classroom management skills.
  • A commitment to raising standards and achieving positive outcomes for all pupils.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • A proactive and reflective approach to teaching.
