Job Type: Day -to- Day Supply Teaching Assistants

Salary: £13.75- £14.50 per hour

Start date: January 2026

About the role:

• Support the class teacher throughout the day, monitoring and recording pupil progress and providing regular feedback.
• Deliver high-quality interventions and activities in small groups or one-to-one sessions to reinforce learning and build confidence.
• Promote and uphold the school’s ethos, ensuring behaviour and safeguarding policies are consistently applied.
• Help create an inclusive, positive learning environment where every child, regardless of need or ability, can achieve their full potential.

We are looking for someone who:

• Experience working with children, either in a professional or personal capacity, ideally with exposure to SEMH or additional needs.
• Relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2 or 3 in Childcare or Teaching Assistant Certificate)
• Good understanding of the primary curriculum across different Key Stages.
• Proactive, adaptable and resilient, with excellent communication skills and high expectations for all learners.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team, building positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents.
• Valid DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
