What do I need to do to become a Supply Teacher?

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status
  • Have a year minimum previous teaching experience
  • Previously worked as a supply teacher or have experience in covering other subjects
  • Hold a child only DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one
  • Be able to obtain two references from your most recent schools
