Supportive Teaching Assistants Needed – SEMH School in Cranborne, Wimborne
Role: 2 x Full-Time Teaching Assistants
Location: Cranborne, Wimborne
Start Date: Immediate
Our special educational needs (SEMH) school in Cranborne is seeking two experienced Teaching Assistants to work with secondary-aged pupils who have Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. If you are compassionate, experienced, and passionate about supporting young people with SEN, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:

Support pupils with SEMH needs in a classroom setting.

Help deliver individual learning plans and targeted interventions.

Foster an inclusive, supportive environment for all students.

Collaborate with teaching staff to track pupil progress and behaviour.
Skills & Experience:
-
Experience working with secondary-aged pupils with SEN, particularly SEMH.
-
Patience, empathy, and resilience when supporting students.
-
Strong teamwork and communication abilities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
