Supply Teacher – Sidmouth | September Start

Teaching Personnel is recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Supply Teachers to work in primary schools across Sidmouth and the surrounding areas from September.

This is a fantastic opportunity for qualified teachers who enjoy inspiring young learners, delivering engaging lessons, and supporting pupils to thrive in the classroom. We have both full-time and part-time opportunities available.

Role Details

Position: Supply Teacher
Location: Sidmouth and surrounding areas
Start Date: September
Pay: Competitive weekly pay (dependent on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm
Contract: Flexible supply, short-term, long-term, full-time and part-time opportunities available
Term Time Only

What You'll Be Doing

• Delivering pre-planned lessons across a range of primary year groups
• Managing classroom behaviour effectively and maintaining a positive learning environment
• Supporting pupils in their learning and encouraging engagement
• Adapting to different school settings and classroom environments
• Providing feedback to school staff on pupil progress and lesson outcomes
• Upholding safeguarding and school policies at all times

We Are Looking For Candidates Who:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Have experience teaching in primary school settings
• Are confident, adaptable, and enthusiastic
• Have strong classroom management skills
• Are passionate about supporting children’s learning and development
• Are reliable, flexible, and professional

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
