Supply Teacher – SEMH School
Full Time | Term Time Only 

Teaching Personnel are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Supply Teacher to join a specialist school supporting young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and associated challenges, including Autism and trauma.

This is a full-time temporary role where the successful candidate will primarily deliver PSHE and Citizenship lessons, alongside providing cover across a range of other subjects as required. The school is looking for an engaging and resilient teacher who can build positive relationships, inspire learners and adapt their approach to meet individual needs.

The role will involve:

• Delivering PSHE and Citizenship lessons to small groups of students

• Providing cover across a variety of curriculum subjects when required

• Supporting pupils with SEMH needs, Autism and trauma-related challenges

• Creating a positive, structured and inclusive learning environment

• Encouraging engagement, confidence and personal development

• Working closely with teaching assistants and the wider school team

The ideal candidate will:

• Hold QTS

• Be confident delivering lessons across multiple subject areas

• Have experience supporting young people with additional needs, SEMH or challenging backgrounds

• Be patient, adaptable and able to build strong relationships

• Remain calm and positive when supporting students who may struggle to engage with learning

• Have a genuine passion for helping young people achieve their potential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
