The Role
As a Supply Teacher, you will have the opportunity to work across a range of welcoming schools in Newport and the surrounding areas. Depending on your experience and preference, we can provide opportunities within your preferred phase and subject area.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Delivering engaging and effective lessons in line with school expectations
- Following existing lesson plans and adapting activities where appropriate
- Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment
- Supporting pupils to achieve their learning objectives
- Working effectively with teaching and support staff
- Providing continuity of learning during staff absence
- Following school policies and safeguarding procedures

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
