Qualified Primary Teachers – Supply Opportunities in Newport & Gwent
Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting passionate and dedicated Primary Teachers to support a high demand for supply work across Newport and the wider Gwent area.
We work in partnership with a wide network of primary schools across Newport, Cwmbran, Pontypool, Ebbw Vale, Blackwood, and surrounding areas, offering a range of flexible teaching opportunities to suit your lifestyle and career goals.

We are looking to hear from:
✔ Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs) looking to build confidence, gain valuable classroom experience, and complete their induction year through flexible supply opportunities
✔ Experienced teachers who are yet to secure a permanent role for September
✔ Teachers seeking a better work-life balance, including those looking to reduce working days while staying active in the classroom
✔ Educators wanting varied, rewarding experience across different schools and year groups
Whether you are looking for day-to-day supply, short-term cover, or long-term placements, we can match you with roles that fit your availability and preferences.

Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to apply)
- Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)
- Access to a car is desirable to increase school placement options

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
