Primary School Supply Teacher – Day-to-Day (Durham Area)

Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting flexible and reliable Primary Supply Teachers to work on a day-to-day basis across a variety of welcoming and supportive primary schools in the Durham area.
This is an excellent opportunity for teachers seeking flexibility, variety, and the chance to gain experience across different school settings.
Role Overview
As a Day-to-Day Supply Teacher, you will:
- Deliver pre-planned lessons across KS1 and/or KS2
- Maintain a positive and engaging classroom environment
- Adapt quickly to different school settings and routines
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively following school policies
- Provide feedback to school staff at the end of each day
- Ensure pupils remain on task and supported in their learning
Requirements for the Role
To be considered, you must:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Have recent experience teaching within a UK primary school
- Be confident teaching across Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2
- Be flexible, adaptable, and reliable
- Hold a valid DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to obtain one)
- Ideally hold a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle to travel between schools
- Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
