We have a high volume of vacancies available to start after Easter (April) or from September, with many long‑term roles offering the opportunity to progress into a permanent contract.

Contract Details

Contract: Full time, long term supply (with permanent potential)
Start Dates: April 2026 (post‑Easter) or September 2026
Pay: Matched to your pay scale (MPS/UPS), paid weekly via PAYE
Location: A range of secondary schools across South Manchester

About the Roles

As a Supply Teacher, you will:

• Deliver high‑quality lessons in your subject area across KS3 & KS4
• Plan, teach, and assess in line with the curriculum (in long‑term roles)
• Maintain strong behaviour management and keep pupils engaged
• Support mixed‑ability groups, including SEN and high‑achieving learners
• Contribute to department planning and whole‑school life where required
• Access long‑term placements with clear progression pathways
• Be considered for temp‑to‑perm opportunities in several schools

We’re Looking For

• Fully Qualified Teachers (QTS) with secondary school experience
• ECTs in any subject specialism
• Strong classroom management and a passion for teaching
• Ability to build positive relationships and deliver strong outcomes
• Reliable, flexible, and confident teaching across a range of classes

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
