The Role
As a Supply Teacher, you will play a key role in maintaining continuity of learning during staff absences. You will have the opportunity to work in a range of schools, gaining diverse experience while making a positive impact on pupils' education.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons across a range of year groups
- Follow school planning and policies to ensure a smooth learning experience
- Create a positive and productive classroom environment
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively
- Adapt confidently to different school settings and teaching requirements
- Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you should have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Experience teaching within UK schools
- Strong classroom management skills
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
- A flexible and professional approach to teaching
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
