Job Title: Supply Teacher

Length of Role: Starting ASAP - Flexible work

Primary schools in Darwen are looking for adaptable and enthusiastic Supply Teachers to begin work immediately. This role is perfect for teachers who enjoy working in different classrooms and supporting pupils across a range of year groups.

You will deliver pre‑planned lessons, maintain a positive learning environment, and support pupils’ progress. Supply teaching offers excellent flexibility and the chance to experience a variety of school settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teaching pre‑prepared lessons across KS1 and KS2

  • Managing behaviour and ensuring a calm classroom

  • Supporting pupils’ learning and engagement

  • Adapting quickly to new routines and expectations

  • Maintaining professionalism in every setting

What We’re Looking For:

  • QTS and experience in primary education

  • Strong behaviour management and communication skills

  • Flexibility, confidence and a positive approach

  • Ability to build rapport quickly with pupils and staff

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
