Sports Teacher – Secondary School (MK44)
Location: MK44, Bedfordshire
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Full time
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Sports Teacher to join an ambitious, forward-thinking, and fully inclusive community secondary school, set in the beautiful rural surroundings of Bedfordshire (MK44).
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator who is committed to supporting young people through high-quality physical education and wider sporting activities.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Experience of delivering and/or participating in sport and physical activities

Experience of working with young people, ideally in an educational setting

Strong interpersonal and organisational skills

The ability to work effectively as part of a team and to use initiative when required

Confidence using IT systems, including email, Word, Excel, and Publisher

The ability to manage conflicting demands, deadlines, and interruptions
-
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

An understanding of child protection and safeguarding responsibilities

A genuine passion for education and a strong belief in the potential of every student

A willingness to undertake training and ongoing professional development
Qualifications:
-
Relevant teaching or sports-related qualifications are preferred

Proven experience within a sports or education setting is essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
