Sports coach - Special Needs (Salford)

Are you a sports specialist wanting to make a real difference to the lives of young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN)?

Wanting to gain experience working within a specialist environment?

Teaching Personnel have a current vacancy for a SEN sports coach to work within a specialist provision in Salford, supporting young people with Autism and complex learning difficulties. The sucsessful candidate will, lead sports activities, promote a healthy lifestyle and empower students to reach their full potential in physical education. Due to the student's needs, class sizes are reduced and staff-student ratio is higher than in mainstream schools, presenting a real opportunity to make a difference. 

Experience with challenging behaviour desirable. 

This is a fantastic opportunity for those with, but not exclusive to:

- Sports coaching qualifications - Experience working within specialist schools (SEN or SEMH) - Graduates in PE, Psychology, relevant subjects - Those with previous teaching experience 

This is a full time role monday - friday 

You will need to have suitable references and a DBS certificate (or be eligible to apply).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
