Job Position: SEN Teacher
Start Date: After easter
Pay Rate: £100 - £130 per day
Location: Wigan
Contract: Full time, Temporary (With opportunity to progress to a permanent position)
Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for a passionate and Fully Qualified SEN Teacher for a School in the Wigan area. This role requires a candidate with experience in supporting students on a 1:1 basis with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and ADHD, as this will be your main role in the position. You will be required to manage behaviour effectively, using consistent routines to provide stability for each individual student you work with, as well as ensuring that each child feels supported and encouraged.
Requirements:
- Have previous experience working with children who have special educational needs
- Be a Fully Qualified Teacher (QTS, PGCE or an equivalent qualification)
- Right to work in the UK
- Obtain a DBS check registered on the update service or a willingness to obtain one
- Experience managing challenging behaviours, adapting approach to individual behaviour support
- Knowledge of SEN strategies and interventions as well as experience working with a range of complex needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
