We are supporting a local Exeter school with securing an experienced, passionate and enthusiastic Special Education Needs Teacher to join their team. This position is responsible for providing specialised instruction in the areas of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) to students in a school setting.

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and experience working with children who have ASD, as well as deep understanding of the unique challenges associated with this need. The successful applicant must also be capable of developing individualised educational plans and providing appropriate behavioural guidance to meet each student’s needs. An ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams within the school is essential.

To be considered for this role you must possess:

 - QTS, Qualified Teacher Status

 - Experience working directly with students on the autism spectrum

 - In-depth knowledge of evidence-based instructional strategies that support learning for individuals on the autism spectrum

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
