Teacher of Spanish (KS3 & KS4)

Mainstream Secondary School – Clitheroe, Lancashire
Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Full-time, initially until April 2027

A well-regarded mainstream secondary school in Clitheroe, Lancashire is seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher of Spanish to join their Modern Foreign Languages department from September 2026.

This is a full-time position, teaching Spanish across Key Stages 3 and 4, offered on a fixed-term basis initially until April 2027. The role would suit either an experienced practitioner or an enthusiastic ECT looking to develop their practice in a supportive school environment.

The Role

  • Deliver engaging and high-quality Spanish lessons at KS3 and KS4
  • Inspire pupils to develop confidence and enthusiasm for languages
  • Plan, assess, and adapt lessons to meet varying abilities
  • Contribute positively to the wider MFL department
  • Maintain high expectations for behaviour, progress, and achievement

The Ideal Candidate

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Has strong subject knowledge of Spanish
  • Is confident teaching KS3 and KS4
  • Demonstrates effective classroom management skills
  • Is committed to inclusive practice and pupil progress
