Teacher of Spanish (QTS Required) – Full-Time

Location: Burnley
Contract: Full-Time, Temporary
Duration: September 2026 – December 2026

We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher of Spanish to join a welcoming and well-established mainstream secondary school in Burnley. This is a full-time position starting in September 2026 and continuing through to December 2026.

The Role

As a Teacher of Spanish, you will:

  • Deliver engaging and high-quality Spanish lessons across KS3 and KS4
  • Plan, prepare, and assess pupils’ work in line with curriculum requirements
  • Foster a positive learning environment that supports student engagement and achievement
  • Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback and support where needed
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school where appropriate

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
  • Experience teaching Spanish in a UK secondary school setting
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • A passion for languages and the ability to inspire students
  • Availability for the full duration of the role (September – December 2026)
