Support Worker - Specializing in Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) - Birmingham
An exceptional school in Birmingham is currently seeking a support worker to join their dedicated team. The school provides comprehensive support to students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs. Their mission is to create an engaging environment where young individuals can flourish and succeed. By employing holistic approaches, the school aims to reconnect students with their learning and foster an understanding of their own mental health. Ideally, we are searching for a candidate with prior experience working with SEMH, even if it was not within an educational setting. As a support worker at the school, you will collaborate with individuals and small groups of children ranging from 5 to 16 years old. Learning is tailored to meet the unique needs of each student, utilizing a holistic curriculum that focuses on developing social and emotional skills. We are looking for someone who possesses a calm and compassionate demeanor, with a child-centered approach to learning.
