£95 – £105 per day PAYE

A supportive and inclusive mainstream primary school in Bedford is seeking a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team from September. You will work closely with pupils who require additional support, helping them access learning, build confidence, and thrive both academically and socially.

Your Responsibilities:
• Provide support to pupils with SEND on a 1:1 and small group basis
• Assist with classroom learning and intervention activities
• Support positive behaviour and emotional regulation strategies
• Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and support staff
• Help create an inclusive and engaging learning environment

Essential Job Requirements:
• Previous experience supporting children with SEND is desirable
• Patient, resilient, and nurturing approach
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Commitment to supporting every child's individual needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
