A friendly and supportive primary school in Bedford is seeking a committed Teaching Assistant to work within a Year 4 classroom, providing general in-class support throughout the school day. This long-term role runs until the end of the summer term and offers a great opportunity to become part of a consistent and welcoming school team.

You’ll work alongside the class teacher to support learning, engagement, and classroom routines, helping pupils stay focused, confident, and motivated. The school values teamwork, consistency, and positive relationships and is keen to appoint someone who can hit the ground running.

Responsibilities:
• Support the class teacher with daily classroom activities
• Provide small-group and whole-class learning support
• Assist pupils with tasks to reinforce understanding and progress
• Help maintain a positive, focused learning environment
• Support behaviour management and classroom routines

Requirements:
• Experience working in a primary school setting
• Experience supporting pupils in Key Stage 2 (desirable)
• A positive, proactive, and adaptable approach
• Ability to work well as part of a team
• A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning
