About the Role
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistants to join our growing talent pool, supporting a range of primary and secondary schools across Battle and St Leonards. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of young people with additional needs.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Supporting pupils with a range of SEND, including autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties

  • Working 1:1 or in small groups to help students access the curriculum

  • Assisting teachers in creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment

  • Promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing

  • Adapting learning materials to meet individual needs

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience working with children or young people with SEND (preferred but not essential)

  • A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A genuine passion for education and inclusion
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g. CACHE Level 2/3, or equivalent) are desirable

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
