SEND Teaching Assistant – Immediate Start | Barnstaple, Devon

Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of children with special educational needs and disabilities? Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting SEND Teaching Assistants to work in supportive and inclusive SEND schools across Barnstaple, Devon.

The Role:
You will provide tailored support to pupils with a range of additional needs, including ASD, SEMH, PMLD, and complex needs, across both primary and secondary settings. Working closely with teachers and specialist staff, you’ll help create a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment. You’ll receive full preparation and ongoing support, including a meet-and-greet and trial day before starting.

Key Details:

  • Start Date: ASAP (flexible to suit your availability)

  • Contract: Full-time, Temp-to-Perm

  • Pay: £90–£100 per day, dependent on experience
