SEN Learning Support Assistant – Birmingham and surrounding areas

Are you a Learning Support Assistant who has experience working with pupils with SEN and Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) needs?

SEN Learning Support Assistants are required to work in our client schools in Birmingham. As an SEN Learning Support Assistant, you will be working with young people, predominantly on a 1:1 basis, with varying needs such as SEMH, MLD and Behavioural Difficulties. Many of our partnership provisions require SEN Learning Support Assistants to work with pupils to support them through their education and motivate them to engage in lessons.

The successful SEN Learning Support Assistant will have a patient and empathetic nature, to work with pupils with varying in needs.

• Individuals who have experience with SEN within educational settings

• Those with Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) experience

• Behaviour Support Workers

• Counsellors

• Graduate specialising in SEN and Inclusion or Psychology Previous experience in education is not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
