Become a Local SEN Tutor in Weymouth and Surrounding Areas with TP Tutors

Are you passionate about helping young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN) succeed? Do you live in Weymouth or nearby areas? Join TP Tutors and make a lasting impact through personalised 1:1 or small group tuition in Maths, English, or core subjects.

We are looking for caring, patient, and committed individuals with experience in education, youth work, care, or SEN support who are dedicated to breaking down barriers to learning.


Role: SEN Tutor (SEND Support Opportunities Available)
Location: Weymouth
Hours: Flexible – Part-Time or Full-Time


How You’ll Make a Difference

  • Deliver tailored, accessible lessons designed around each learner’s needs

  • Support students with a range of SEND, including autism, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties

  • Create a calm, safe, and structured learning environment

  • Provide tuition in learners’ homes or suitable community settings

  • Encourage confidence, independence, and positive engagement with education


✅ What We’re Looking For

  • Experience working with children or young people with SEN (education, mentoring, youth services, care, etc.)

  • Confidence supporting primary or secondary-aged learners

  • Based in Weymouth and able to travel locally or teach online

  • Compassionate, adaptable, and professional approach

  • Strong commitment to safeguarding and learner wellbeing

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
