Are you an experienced SEN professional looking for flexibility, autonomy, and meaningful impact?

TP Tutors is expanding across West Sussex, and we’re looking for passionate SEN Tutors to deliver personalised 1:1 and specialist tuition to learners who need tailored support the most.


Role Details

Role: SEN Tutor (1:1 & Specialist Support)
Location: West Sussex – learner homes / community settings / flexible delivery
Hours: Flexible – Part-Time or Full-Time


Your Impact

✔ Plan and deliver sessions aligned with EHCP outcomes
✔ Support learners with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, MLD and additional needs
✔ Identify learning gaps and implement achievable plans
✔ Re-engage disengaged or emotionally based school refusers
✔ Use differentiated, trauma-informed approaches
✔ Foster strong, supportive relationships
✔ Track and report measurable progress

You won’t just teach — you’ll help transform educational journeys.


✅ We’re Looking For

• SEN experience with children or young people
• Knowledge of adaptive teaching strategies
• Experience supporting SEND and SEMH learners
• Calm, resilient, and relationship-driven approach
• Strong safeguarding standards
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)

Teachers, SEN specialists, tutors, HLTAs, TAs and experienced support staff are all encouraged to apply.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
