SEN Tutor – Middleton (M24)
Have you got the patience, creativity, and resilience to support pupils with additional needs outside of the classroom? At TP Tutors, we’re recruiting experienced SEN Tutors to work 1:1 with learners in Middleton (M24) who need tailored support to re-engage with their education.
Our pupils may be out of school due to anxiety, SEND, or other barriers. As their tutor, you’ll deliver face-to-face sessions in safe local settings — either in the home or a community space such as the library. It’s about more than subject knowledge; it’s about building trust, creating a positive learning environment, and helping each learner move forward at their own pace.
The role involves:

Supporting pupils with SEN and SEMH needs on a 1:1 basis

Adapting teaching strategies to match learning styles and emotional needs
-
Delivering personalised tuition in core subjects

Helping pupils rebuild confidence and re-engage with learning

Providing short progress reports for parents or local authorities
We’d love to hear from you if you:

Have experience working with SEN learners (school, tuition, or care background)

Are adaptable, patient, and able to motivate reluctant learners

Hold an Enhanced DBS (or are willing to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
