SEN Tutor – High Wycombe & Buckinghamshire

£20–£30 per hour | Flexible hours | 

We are seeking passionate, reliable SEN Tutors based in or around High Wycombe who can deliver high-quality, personalised tuition across Buckinghamshire.

This is a rewarding opportunity to support learners with additional needs and help them reach their full potential in a flexible, supportive environment.

About the Role

You will be working 1:1 with students with Special Educational Needs, including:

  • ASD

  • ADHD

  • Dyslexia

  • SEMH and related needs

Students range from EYFS through to Post-16, and we welcome tutors who are confident working with any part of this age range.

You will be responsible for:

  • Assessing student needs and starting points

  • Planning and delivering tailored schemes of work

  • Adapting teaching strategies to suit individual learning styles

  • Providing clear progress feedback

Tutoring will be in Maths and/or English.

Requirements

Applicants must:

  • Hold QTS or have a minimum of 3 years tutoring experience

  • Have proven experience working with SEN learners

  • Be confident planning and delivering personalised tuition

  • Be professional, patient, and committed to student progress

  • Be able to travel within Buckinghamshire

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
