TP Tutors is expanding in Chichester and is seeking committed SEN Tutors to provide tailored 1:1 and small group tuition in Maths, English and Science.

This role centres on delivering high-impact core subject support to learners who require a personalised approach.

Role Details

Position: SEN Tutor – Maths, English & Science
Location: Chichester – homes and community settings
Hours: Flexible to suit your availability

Key Responsibilities

• Assess academic ability in core subjects

• Develop structured learning plans in Maths, English and Science

• Align tuition with EHCP goals

• Adapt teaching strategies to support additional needs

• Build subject confidence and independent learning skills

• Provide consistent progress updates

Requirements

• Strong subject knowledge in at least one core area (Maths, English or Science)

• Experience supporting SEN learners

• Knowledge of inclusive teaching approaches

• Excellent safeguarding awareness

• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
