Are you an experienced and empathetic tutor with a passion for supporting young people with Special Educational Needs? We’re looking for a committed SEN Tutor based in Bath to provide personalised 1:1 tuition to students with a range of learning needs.

About the Role:
You will work with students with additional needs including Autism (ASD), ADHD, and Dyslexia, delivering tailored sessions that support their academic progress and confidence. Tuition may take place at the student’s home, school, or a local venue, depending on what suits each learner best.

Key Details:

  • Location: Bath and surrounding areas

  • Pay: £20–£30 per hour (dependent on experience)

  • Hours: Flexible – part-time or full-time roles available

Your Responsibilities:

  • Assess students’ individual learning needs and goals

  • Plan and deliver engaging, tailored lessons across core subjects (particularly English and Maths)

  • Create a supportive, inclusive learning environment

  • Adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles and challenges

  • Communicate progress with parents, carers, and other professionals where appropriate

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience working with children or young people with SEN (ASD, ADHD, Dyslexia essential)

  • Strong knowledge of educational strategies and inclusive teaching approaches

  • Ability to plan and deliver structured, differentiated schemes of work

  • Excellent communication, patience, and empathy

  • Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one)

  • Reliable transport to travel within Bath and surrounding areas

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
