Job description

Hourly Rate: £20–£30
Location: Bath and surrounding areas
Flexible, rewarding, 1:1 teaching role

Are you an experienced educator with a passion for supporting learners who think and learn differently? We’re looking for a committed SEN Tutor to work with students across Bath, providing personalised tuition that helps them grow in confidence and achieve their potential.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide 1:1 tuition for students with a variety of SEN needs, including ASD, ADHD, Dyslexia, PDA, and more

  • Travel to local schools, community venues, or students’ homes to deliver sessions

  • Carry out initial assessments and create tailored learning plans

  • Deliver engaging, structured lessons built around each learner’s strengths and challenges

  • Keep clear records of progress and communicate with parents, carers, and professionals as needed

What We’re Looking For

  • QTS or minimum 3 years’ teaching/tutoring experience

  • Strong background in supporting students with a range of SEN profiles

  • Confident in planning, adapting, and delivering personalised schemes of work

  • Patient, reliable, and able to build positive rapport with learners and families

  • Based in or able to travel around Bath

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
