SEN Teaching Assistant (1:1 Support)
Location: Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire
Contract Type: Temporary (opportunities to go perm)
Hours: 32.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Weekly Salary:£445 to £470
Start Date: As soon as possible

Teaching Personnel are seeking full-time Teaching Assistants to join a specialist school in Stratford - Upon - Avon. The school caters for children aged 3–19 and are dedicated to providing a nurturing and inclusive environment for pupils with a wide range of special educational needs and disabilities. Their mission is to prepare students for life beyond school, fostering independence, communication, and personal development.
Key Responsibilites:

Curriculum Support: Assist in the delivery of lessons, contribute to curriculum planning and evaluation, and support students in their learning activities.

Individual Support: Work closely with the assigned student to promote their independence, self-esteem, and personal development.

Teacher Assistance: Support the teacher in managing the learning environment, preparing resources, and liaising with families.

Professional Conduct: Adhere to school procedures, engage with communication systems, and uphold the ethos and values of the school.
Requirements:
- Minimum Maths and English GCSE
- An enhanced Child and Adult DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
- Some children may require personal care

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
