Teaching Assistant - Plaistow

£80 - £100 ( Depending on experience )

School Information

The school caters for Secondary aged students with social, emotional, and mental health difficulties. The school has designed a unique curriculum to ensure every student develops the skills they need to lead a fulfilling and successful life. There aim is to ensure each student achieves the highest grade possible.

Responsibilities:

  • Work as a Teaching Assistant with students on a 1:1 basis and within the classroom
  • Teaching Assistants will need to be flexible due to the type of setting
  • Teaching Assistant might be asked to be on patrol of school grounds
  • Teaching Assistants are expected to support the class teacher
  • Teachings Assistants might be asked to do lunch duty

Ideal skills and requirements:

  • A good understanding or passionate about SEMH
  • Qualifications needed GCSE and above.
  • Experience working with children in any setting.
  • Contribute an enthusiastic attitude towards learning.
  • Be pro-active and professional.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
