SEN Teaching Assistant

Students across the UK have experienced unprecedented disruption to their education in recent months. As the schools return to full capacity, we have received an influx of requests for 1:1 academic and pastoral support to help students manage the transition back into the classroom.

We are currently recruiting for experienced Teaching Assistants, committed to making a difference in school, and working among other staff to continually driving school improvements.

We are particularly interested in TAs with a wealth of school experience, who have experience working 1:1 with SEN individuals and can effectively manage classroom disruption.

Available positions are both part-time and full-time!

Daily rate: GBP65-80/day (Dependent on experience)

The Ideal Candidate:

  • CACHE Level 2 (+) or equivalent
  • Experience working in a classroom environment
  • Experience providing 1:1 to support for students with additional needs
  • Confident leading small group interventions

All successful candidates will be required to fund a DBS certification on the update service. This involves a one-off payment of GBP40 followed by an annual fee of GBP13. DBS Certification is an essential for ALL work in childcare settings.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
