PRU Higher Level Teaching Assistant

Primary and Secondary PRU (Pupil Referral Unit)

Southampton

ASAP – Temp or Perm

Do you have a background in performing arts as well as a passion for working within SEND?

Do you have experience in supporting young people who cannot access mainstream education due to their social, emotional, and mental health?

The Ideal PRU Higher Level Teaching Assistant

  • The ideal PRU Teaching Assistant is resilient and adaptable.
  • Experience in MAPA/PECS/Team Teach or other interventions is beneficial.
  • Have a background or interest in performing arts or creative media
  • The ideal PRU teaching assistant will go above and beyond to change the lives of young people.
  • The teaching assistant will excel in building a solid rapport with students and staff.
  • The ideal PRU Teaching Assistant can adjust to and overcome challenges whilst following appropriate protocol.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
