SEN Teaching Assistants Needed for September

Teaching Personnel are recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants to work in specialist schools across West Yorkshire from September.

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who are passionate about supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs. Whether you have experience in education or come from another caring profession, we'd love to hear from you.

You may be supporting pupils with:

  • Autism (ASC)
  • ADHD
  • SEMH
  • Learning Disabilities
  • Complex Needs
  • Physical Disabilities
  • Speech and Language Needs

Duties may include:

  • Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups
  • Managing challenging behaviour positively
  • Personal care
  • Moving and handling
  • Supporting communication
  • Helping pupils access learning
  • Working alongside teachers and therapists

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
