SEN Teaching Assistants Required - Wakefield
Full-Time Opportunities Available
We are currently recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants to work in specialist settings across Wakefield.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Assisting with personal care where required
- Supporting pupils with behavioural, social, and emotional needs
- Working closely with teaching and pastoral teams to create a positive learning environment
What We're Looking For:
- Previous school-based or childcare experience
- Confidence supporting children with additional needs
- Strong behaviour management skills
- Willingness to undertake personal care duties
- A current DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for a DBS
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle preferred
Pay: £92.63 - £105.00 per day (based on a 6.5-hour working day)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
