Teaching Personnel is recruiting a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a highly specialist education setting in Stockport, supporting children and young people with autism, complex learning difficulties, communication needs, sensory impairments, and physical disabilities.

The Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
✅ Provide 1:1 and small group support
✅ Help pupils access learning and develop key life skills
✅ Support communication, social development, and emotional wellbeing
✅ Assist with personal care and mobility when required
✅ Work closely with teachers, therapists, and specialist staff
✅ Create a safe, engaging, and nurturing learning environment
What We're Looking For
We're keen to hear from candidates who have:
- Experience in education, care, support work, or youth services
- A passion for SEN and specialist education
- A patient, resilient, and nurturing approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
