Job description

We are currently seeking full-time Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistants to join our expanding team at Partnership Schools.
 

The successful candidates will provide invaluable support to our pupils, and we are looking for individuals with a strong understanding of SEN, based in or around the Meldreth area with a SG8 postcode.

As this role may require travelling to our Partnership Schools, applicants must have access to a car or reliable public transport.

 

This is a full-time position, working from 8:30am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday during term time. We are currently accepting applications for an immediate start or for roles starting after a suitable notice period.

Some relevant professional or personal experience in SEN is required for this role.

 

 

 

 

Typical TA duties include:

  • Providing support to pupils in various learning contexts, including the classroom, local environment, and community, to aid their learning, development, and progress across the curriculum.
  • Empowering and supporting pupils with a range of needs, such as PMLD, complex medical conditions, and autism, to achieve their educational and personal goals.
  • Promoting equality, diversity, and the rights of our pupils to be treated with respect and seen as learners.
  • Placing emphasis on support and empowerment for our pupils.
  • Promoting a greater understanding of Special Education issues.
  • Providing high-quality support in all aspects of the role.
  • Participating in physical intervention and personal care routines, if required.
