SEN Teaching Assistant

Location: Royston, Hertfordshire
Pay: 120 – £130 per day
Full-time | Term-time

A specialist SEND school in Royston is looking for a resilient, compassionate Teaching Assistant ready to make a genuine impact from day one. One of our partner schools provides a structured, nurturing, and therapeutic learning environment where progress is individualised and every small achievement is celebrated for all learners. 

The Role:

  • 1:1 and small group SEND support

  • Supporting pupils with autism, communication needs, and associated conditions

  • Assisting with personalised learning and behaviour strategies

  • Promoting independence, regulation, and social development

  • Full-time, term-time opportunity

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience working with children or young people (SEND desirable)

  • Calm, adaptable, and proactive approach

  • Strong relationship-building skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
