SEN Teaching Assistant
Location – Redbridge
Contract – Flexible
Start date – ASAP
Pay - £89 - £100 per day
Hours - 8.30am - 15.30pm
We are looking for passionate, dynamic, SEN Teaching assistants to help support a classroom, working with various needs and providing support and interventions. You will be working as either a one-to-one or supporting the classroom.
All candidates will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Students with varying SEN needs, providing tailored support and interventions based on individual EHCPs
- Implement group or 1:1 interventions to support pupils who have emotional or social barriers to learning
- Establish constructive relationships with pupils, acting as a role model and setting high expectations
- Promote the inclusion and acceptance of all pupils
Requirements:
- Currently hold Enhanced DBS (or willing to obtain one)
- Experience managing challenging behaviours, adapting approach to individual behaviour support.
- Experience working with Children, ideally SEN.
- Knowledge of SEN strategies and interventions.
- A commitment to promoting inclusivity and diversity within the school community.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
