SEN Teaching Assistant – Poole
Poole | ️ September Start | ⏰ Full-Time | Mainstream Primary
Are you passionate about supporting children and making a real difference in their school journey?
We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join one of our welcoming mainstream primary schools in Poole from September.
What will you be doing?
You’ll play an important role in supporting pupils with additional needs, helping them to feel confident, included and ready to learn.
Your day could include:
- Providing 1:1 or small-group support
- Helping pupils access their learning
- Supporting social, emotional and behavioural needs
- Encouraging confidence and independence
- Building positive relationships with pupils
- Working closely with teachers and the wider school team
- Creating a calm, supportive and positive learning environment

Previous SEN experience is desirable, but not essential — we're interested in people who have the right attitude, personality and passion for supporting children.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
